Mold & Biotoxin Illness Treatment Centers
Christian Medical Ministries operates a growing network of Mold Illness Treatment Centers across Southwest Florida, focused on diagnosing and treating Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) — a serious condition triggered by exposure to mold and other toxins in Water-Damaged Buildings (WDBs).

We follow the only scientifically validated, peer-reviewed, and legally recognized protocol, developed by Ritchie Shoemaker, MD. Our Medical Director, Alan Gruning, DO, a certified Shoemaker Proficiency Partner, has successfully treated patients with CIRS for nearly two decades.

Christian Medical Ministries is proud to be part of the Christian CIRS Network — a nationwide collaboration of clinicians, coaches, and environmental experts dedicated to treating Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) with faith-based, evidence-informed care.

Our Medical Director, Dr. Alan Gruning, DO, is the founder of the Christian CIRS Network, which he established to support physicians, Indoor Environmental Professionals (IEPs), and educators who practice the Shoemaker Protocol for CIRS with a distinctly Christian emphasis. As a certified Shoemaker Proficiency Partner and active leader in this growing community, Dr. Gruning helps ensure our patients receive the most up-to-date, holistic, and scientifically validated protocols available.​
